Hope you have the stomach for this news ... causes it is a little disturbing.

The pet food industry is a billion business and the only thing they care about is their money, power and greed. When they make the dog or cat food, they use special handling such as a face mask and special gloves. Why do they need them? Because the toxins going into the pet food is absorbed through the skin. Think your dog is safe from consuming the same toxins?

The pet food industry and some veterinarians has brainwashed us into thinking that in order to keep our pets healthy we must feed them a diet formulated for dogs and cats. No table scraps.

We have pets suffering from all kinds of diseases and illnesses including cancer, hypertension, skin problems, heart disease, the list is endless. Before the billion dollar pet industry began to prosper, our dogs and cats ate what we ate and lived long happy lives. Most died of old age.

Even if the bag or can says premium, natural, complete, balanced, there are some ingredients that they are not required to list.

Here goes ... and the price you are paying for listening to their deceit

Aluminum ... causes electrolyte imbalance, dog Alzheimer's also know as Cognitive Dysfunction.

Animal and Poultry Fat ... causes diarrhea, gas, bad breath and vomiting.

Antibiotics ... causes yeast in the body and kills off the good bacteria along with the bad.

BHA ... causes cancer, kidney and liver damage, fetal abnormalities, metabolic stress, increased cholesterol, allergies and behavior problems.

BHT ... causes cancer, kidney and liver damage, fetal abnormalities, metabolic stress, increased cholesterol, allergies and behavior problems.

Ethoxyquin(EQ) ... causes allergies, skin problems, cancer, immune system disorders, liver conditions and reproductive difficulties.

Growth Hormones ... causes obesity.

Meat By-Products ... When is a meat not a meat? When's its a by-product! Means could be anything, the 4 D's, meaning dead, diseased, dying, disabled. Causes cancer and other degenerative diseases.

Peanut Hulls ... causes chronic constipation and damages the colon tissues.

Pesticides ... causes cancer and other degenerative diseases.

Propyl Gallate ... causes anemia, bloating, liver damage.

Propylene Glycol ... causes constipation, cancer and can affect the liver and kidneys.

Red Dye 40 and All Other Dyes ... causes cancer and birth defects.

Salt ... causes high blood pressure.

Sodium Nitrate ... causes cancer and birth defects.

Soybean ... causes increased flatulence and bloat.

Sugar and Other Sweeteners ... causes diabetes, hypoglycemia, cataract development, obesity, dental problems and arthritis.


Too many more to mention ...

It is sad that this is what our world has come too.

Probably, today every dog food is preserved with EQ in one way, although you can't count on finding it on the label, since EQ is often added at the rendering plant.

We must take responsibly for the nutritional health of our dogs and cats, or the high percentage of dog diseases will continue to escalate.

Start Making Your Own Dog Food ... Or At Least Buy Organic From Reputable Resources.

Still not convinced? Beef or chicken by-products include heads, feets, feathers, lungs, spleens, kidneys, brains, stomachs, bones, blood and any other part of the carcasses that do not meet human-food qualifications goes in the dog food mix. Also pet id tags, road kill, rancid grains and the 4 D's which stands for dead, diseased, dying and disabled dogs and cats. Yes I said dogs and cats. There are a number of veterinarians that sell dogs and cats to rendering houses to be slaughtered into pet food.

Us pet lovers needs to contact our Congressmen and and let them know that dog food like this is totally unacceptable.

Also not acceptable is bio-tech dog food that is made with GMO's, meaning genetically modified or altered organisms which is happening with our crops from the seeds.

When YOU just start cooking for YOUR dog, I promise YOUR dog will be around a long long time.
