Issue #024 - What They Focus On Will Come True Differences Between Conventional And Holistic VeterinariansThe biggest differences is their Focus. Conventional Veterinarians focus on the cut, burn and poison solution and how to maintain a big lifestyle (theirs).
Holistic Veterinarians focus on the whole body and how to self-heal it and to heal is much greater than the desire for money.
Conventional Veterinarians want to stop the symptoms, usually forcing it into the body further until it comes back as a chronic disease. They treat the symptoms of the disease, not necessarily the disease itself.
Holistic Veterinarians look at the underlying causes of disease, not just the symptoms. They are concerned about all physical and nonphysical aspects of mind, body, spirit and environment health and expanding the dogs life.
Conventional Veterinarians prescribe antibiotics, radiation, steroids, chemotherapy, drugs, specialized vet diets or surgery.
Holistic Veterinarians use 'first do no harm' methods and believe in only healthy food with no toxins in it for dogs. And vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids is like having extra health insurance.
Conventional Veterinarians view that all body parts are not as valuable and serve a purpose.
Holistic Veterinarians know that God created our body and our dogs body and all our parts are necessary and of use.
Conventional Veterinarians don't think that nutrition play a part for dogs or that dogs need vitamins or minerals. No concern for long or short term side-effects of drugs they prescribe.
Holistic Veterinarians don't have to worry about any toxic side effects from herbs, homeopathic remedies, natural foods ... because there are none or very few.
Conventional Veterinarians test on people and animals. Even read 100,000,000 Guinea Pigs? It was written in 1932.
Holistic Veterinarians do no testing on animals or people. If the herb didn't help us, at least it didn't harm us. Of course not all herbs are safe. Some are poisonous and have to be used with caution.
Conventional Veterinarians have no clue what causes the sickness, disease ... it is all a mystery.
Holistic Veterinarians know what causes diseases, therefore they know how to fix it. They also focus on prevention.
Prevention is always better than the cure.
Conventional Veterinarians use state of the art equipment that are not only expensive but also are toxic to your dog.
Holistic Veterinarians have simple ways to check things in the dogs body which is a lot less expensive and is not toxic or painful.
I leave you with this ...
Herbs are not going to heal us or our dog forever. When it is our time to go, it is our or our dogs time to go ... but at least we will go with a lot more dignity and in a lot less pain and we will not have the hospitals or vets sucking us penniless so we have nothing to leave our families.
No one can tell us when and how much time we have left on this earth. That contract is with God and you. Or God and your dog.
BLESSINGS for you and your dog on your holistic journey,
