Need Help With Those Nasty Ear Infections?




Ear Infections usually almost always starts with an imbalance of bacteria in the dog’s body. That’s the ROOT CAUSE of it. It can come from a continual use of antibiotics and other toxic drugs. Overuse of antibiotics will cause ear infections, which can be in the dog’s food, dog treats, medications or milk.

Common causes:

  • Ear Mites … are usually noticed by brownish stuff in the ear that looks like coffee grounds

  • Bacterial Infection … is usually pus-filled, moist yellow paste in ear, red or swollen

  • Fungal Infection … is just a strong foul odor, head shaking and ear scratching

  • Allergies … majority come from food or environmental pollutants

  • Foreign Matter … such as foxtails

  • Hormonal Imbalance … such as hypothyroidism

  • Other Health Problems … such as autoimmune diseases or candida

If your dog has recurring ear infections, it could very well be candida, which means it is systemic … throughout the entire body.

Symptoms:

  • Excessive wax

  • Foul odor

  • Excessive scratching

  • Whining or crying when ear is touched

  • Disorientation

  • Rubbing the ears against things

  • Head shaking

  • Redness

  • Matting of the hair in the ear

Some breeds are more susceptible to dog ear care problems like dogs with floppy ears, such as spaniels and bloodhounds and also breeds with heavy hair growth in their ears like the Lhasa.
